Print

Dynamic AI uses the browser settings when printing. By clicking “Print” the browsers print dialogue is automatically opened and prepared to print the selected report.

When printing your browsers defaults for header and footer are printed as well. If you don’t want these to be shown on your Dynamic AI reports simply remove these in the browsers “page setup”.

In order to print the report as it is presented on the screen you need to set the browser to print background images as well.

This is defined in the “Advanced” tab, which you will find under the menu tab Tools/Internet Options.

Once these setting has been defined in your browser simply just press “Print” in the Tools menu on the report you which to print, select your printer and define whether the report should be printed in portrait or landscape.

The report will be printed without filter boxes as shown below. If the report is “longer” than one page the column headers will be repeated automatically on each page. When developing the report it’s also possible to select after which row groupers a page break should be activated. Read more about this in the section “Page break” in the chapter “List options”.

A drill down on the total and a print in landscape will look like:

Another way to print a Dynamic AI report is by

·         Opening the report in a “Print-friendly” mode selected via the Report menu.

·         Right click the page and select “Print Preview”. Depending on the browsers print facilities you can now easily

·         Remove header/footer,

·         Change size of print (i.e. fit to page) and

·         Change between portrait/landscape printing.
