I am trying to use the Column Stacked high chart but when I run the report, the chart does not display. If I change the chart to Bar Horizontal Stacked, this chart displays. Is there a reason why the column stacked chart will not display? Also, When I choose the Line + Column high chart, I get the Line + Column + Pie chart instead. Choosing the Line + Column + Pie chart gives me the correct chart.

I can't think why horizontal stacked works for you but not column stacked. I have recently used both on same reports. Can you show us a screen shot of the report with horizontal chart?

I can confirm that both "HC Line + Column" selections include the pie -- which would seem to be wrong.
