Configure Scheduler in Dynamic AI

Postby bj » Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:36 pm

Hi,

I want to schedule automatically an report. I have created a new user = Agent with the passwort = Agent.
After that I have configured the aimoni.ini with the parameters url, user, pwd. Then I started the DaiAgent.exe Programm.

DAIAgent_ALERT.TXT

Possible problem with monitoring of
http://localhost/ai6/AI.asp?UID=AGENT&PW=Agent

WARNING: The agent received a longer than expected response. Please investigate.

DAIAgent_LOG.HTM

Seconds to get web page: 4
Request statuscode: 200
Request statustext: OK

What more can I check in this environment ?

Hi,

In which Dynamic AI version 6.xxx do you have the issue?

There was recently a fix to a login problem with the Agent.

Best regards
Carsten

I have tested this function with dynamic AI Version 6.2.37 Server Edition.
Further Information: MS Windows XP Professional, Version 2002 SP 3.

Just wanted to say that the issue has been resolved.

The DAIAgent_Alert.txt file is created when the agent does not receive a response from the server within a set number of seconds.

In some cases, the agent has many jobs (email reports, pre-calculate data,..) to execute and therefore takes more time than expected.

So the file getting created is not necessarily an indication of an error.
