How to troubleshoot IIS errors on Windows Vista

Postby admin » Fri Apr 03, 2009 10:50 am

This is a general post about a few things that can be checked if Dynamic AI fails to run at all on Windows Vista with Internet Information Services.

The following screenshot video shows the most neccesary configuration parameters in Internet Information Services on Windows Vista.

This shows how to check/set that:
the application pool named "dynamic" is created and set to Classic/No managed Code
    the application pools are started
the virtual application named "dynamic" uses the "dynamic" application pool
IIS autentication is set to Anonymous
the user IUSR has permissions on the Program Files/Dynamic AI Folder
