make schedule conditional?

Using a scheduled email to send reorder reports to vendors.

I'd like to only send Monday thru Saturday. As this isn't at present an option on the scheduler an alternate approach would be not to email if the report was empty. Any ideas?

Scheduling the report 6 times a week for each vendor isn't an option as I could end up with 600 emails to manage.

I think what you want is indeed an option for scheduling:
This schedules a report 6 days a week at 8:45 a.m.
